The 230/236 is more drivable & has more power all around & sounds better, trust me Its unbelivable but its because of its Xtreme Grind, I've installed almost all the cams, lt4 hotcam,cc305,xe 230/236,xe224/236,cc306,stock,gtp 5. the Xe 230/236 is my choice for now for every day driving, for the most power I think GTP 5 & cc306 but the Xe 230/236 is up there.

What about with stock heads? Is the 230/236 still your choice? I'm also looking for a street/strip but mainly street cam but I want to run stock heads for now. I was looking at the 224/230 and 224/236 cams and was leaning towards the 224/236. I would have a dyno tune and the car is a M6. Would the 230/236 work better or should I stick with the 224/236? Thanks

Bryan

the 230/236 really should be used with ported heads, but many have run it with stock. If your going to stay with stock heads I would look at a smaller grind, but if your going to do heads in the future this is a great cam to do.
