CC305 streetable on stock converter
CC305 streetable on stock converter
ok all maybe some of you have been reading my issues as of late but i think im gonan go ahead and buy a CC305, my question is will it be somewhat streetable on a stock converter for a while..also what will my gains be while keeping stock TC? please no comments about you should upgrade your TC because i cannot right now
Re: CC305 streetable on stock converter
I had a 10.5"/3200 stall in mine BEFORE I did the CC305. After it, I had to step up to an even higher 9.5"/3800 stall. The CC305 won't like a stock stall at all.

Re: CC305 streetable on stock converter
I had the XE 224/230 on my stock converter which is a little more aggresive than the CC305. The only drivability factor I ran into was when I was sitting at a stoplight and the car was in drive you had to push on the brake more than normal to keep the car from idling foward. Other than that, the stock converter is fine for that cam. I had no cam surge and the car actually pulled better down low than with the stock cam believe it or not. My car was tuned by Bryan @ PCMforless and he does a fantastic job on tuning our cars. I say go for it because I know you will be happy with the new combo!
