afaik, they were basically the same thing
check the cam durations on each and the lift they have
to tell you the truth, i think either would be a great way to go if you had stock heads
imo, i think you should go bigger since you have some ported heads
maybe a 224/230 xe comp cams cam might be in line for you
just some food for thought

also, if emissions are a concern, you can get an emissions tune that can get you by and still make great power (pcmforless and madwolf seem to be the top 2 to go to here)

i havnt ported the heads yet but will be porting them a little ourselves when doing the cam. i also forgot that we will be using 1.6 rr's ofcoarse
now will that 224/230 be to much for the stock torque convertor??

to tell you the truth, i just threw that one out there
it sounds like it would probably be pretty good
do a search though for the powerband of it and if you need a higher stall t/c
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...ight=224%2F230
i did a quick search and found this, though i didn't read too much into it
also,i would look out for cams that might need your gears to be changed
on second thought, maybe a 218/224 would be in line for you
also, i heard somewhere that comp cams released some more cams that fill in where the xe's fall out
go ahead and search though, there is more than enough info on this board i would bet
