With the CC305 cam, what would be good lifters, matched springs, and other parts I would need for install?

i ran the cc305 for a long time. really liked it and made some serious power for a cam only/bolt-on car (336rwhp)
lifter-comp r's....the older style if you can find them
springs- comp 918's
and get a set of either comp or crane 1.6 rockers.

sorry to bump this thread if its old, but do you have to get those things to install a new cam?

what are the basics you need to change one?

Springs and accompanying hardware are a must. It also is a good idea to upgrade the pushrods and timing set. As for the lifters, as long as they are damage free and the rollers spin freely, you can get away with reusing them. A tune to dial in the combo will be needed as well. Don't forget to add in the cost of a gasket set as well.
