cc304 vs. stock
cc304 vs. stock
nobody really talks about the cc304, because its not that big and all. but what kind of numbers can a person be expected to see with this cam? how much hp over stock? anybody running one, and if so what kind of times and numbers are you running? also what are the stock lt1 cam specs... i already know what the 304's are. thanks for help in advance.

Here's a list of cams, both stock and aftermarket with spec's for you to compare.
Most don't go with the 304 because, as you mentioned, it's pretty small. I'm sure it'd be a good torqe/low end cam, but for all the time, $$, and effort involved in a cam swap.. it doesn't look to be worth it. A 305 or XE 224/230 (what I chose) would be a nice step up, very streetable, and work great with both stock and ported heads.
For specific dyno numbers/track times for the 304, you'd have to do some searching..

I'd say about 2.5/3k rpm it starts to bear its teeth. Below that it feels the same as when I was all bolt-on. At about 4k it's blatently obvious that it's no longer just a bolt-on LT1. Wonderful feeling
