I made 348 rwhp untuned through a Manual with a cc306 with stock heads, rockers, and lifters. I also had Mac headers and a hooker catback.

with that stall, you'll be lucky to make 330rwhp, but you will still have excellent quarter mile times, prob equivalent to the guys pushing 350+rwhp and manuals,

I did 330 rwhp with my 2800 vig so maybe 340 instead of 350rwhp.
I only picked up 7-8rwhp when I switched over to the 6speed

At least 3200, at leasst, im doing the same thing with the 306 and stock unported heads. so ill see what happens i have a vig 3200 stall. and thats even on the small size for this cam

But i was told this cam "opens up" at like 3000 so......see what happens with ur 2800

Re: cc 306 on stock unported heads?

My car has untouched heads on it and ive wernt 13.06@110 with stock tune and 3.23 gears with a horrable 2.0 60' foot and the car bogging to 2200rpm off the line (it almost died). The next pass I launched it at 4500rpm and blew the yolk up on the rear end so I havent got anymore track time sence. I currently have another camaro in my garage with a completely stock long block(other than noted mods)its a 94 camaro of a friends which has ONLY the CC306 cam, Comp 987-16 springs, steel retainers, CSI(CSR) electric water pump, Crane AFPR, Vig 3000 stall, 1LE alum drive shaft, 3.73s,(10 bolt) auburn pro diff, BMR sfc's, a good tune, and BFG G-force 275/45/17 Drag radials and it ran 12.44@113 with a 1.68 60 foot. It has no suspention mods other than the front swap bar is off. I think the car runs pretty good for no more than is done to it. But Id imagine its somewhere close to 350rwhp. Just my 2 cents.

J.

Hows 110mph = 350rwhp? That means my stock LS1 SS has that with a lid and a TB, that's doubtfull.

How much does the car weight?

I dynoed 350rwhp(maybe more, let out at 5950rpm). CC306 and unported stock heads, shorty headers, and a stock Ipipe and gutted cat.

Ran times in sig.

Do you mean you ran stock valvetrain with the 306, I dont see how this can be done without major top end damage, although someone else told me they had done it.

I run the 2800 stall and find it works nicely, i suppose a 3200 would be optimal tho.

Actually, Bret, FWIW my buddy has a 2000 WS.6 M6 that has consistently dyno'd 345~349rwhp and he traps 110 at two different tracks at relatively the same elevation and conditions (decent, ~1500 DA). I don't know the weight, but it is a fully optioned car. I'd guess 3550~3650# (?)

Re: cc 306 on stock unported heads?

Well there is hope that my car is a freak yet. No need to dyno a stock motor IMHO. Sounds about dead on with my car. I still don't think it's putting that down because at this weight and MPH we are talking about 365-370 at the flywheel SAE, that's about 325rwhp.

Hell it's a dyno they all don't say the same thing, i've seen well tuned in engine dynos off 9%
