mods in sig. hp numbers? track times?

was wondering if anyone had a simular set up and had some educated guesses.

shifting at 6400,

 

if you can get tracktion i could see some high 11s out of it.
i had the same cam with some ARE heads(they flowed around 250-255)
and got a 11.8 out of it at 115-116
that was with a 6speed

 

Damn near the same as mine. Except, I have 37# fuel injectors. I had 3.73's when I went to the dyno. #'s in sig.

what injectors are u using, i just picked up this cam and was wondering if the stock ones worked. and if u dont mind do u know what they messed with on the tune. im going to be doing the tune and was just wondering were to start. thanks

stock injectors

 

You can use stock injectors and there is a bin file on Brent Frankers site for stock injectors. I used it for a baseline and it was really close for my car when I had ported stock heads and the CC306 (11.40's@118mph). I worked on the tune a little and got the car hooking better and went 11.24@120mph in good air about 1-1/2 years ago, all with stock 24# injectors. I probably have the quickest CC306 car on the net, at least that I know of. Later Clint

 

how safe is it to run ported heads, on a stock head tune? as in, is WOT a no no? I've got a set coming in tomorrow afternoon for my CC306 car, and I don't know if I'll be able to wait for an updated mailorder...

i've seen the .bin on ben frankers site, maybe i'll just run that one, and change it for my 36# injectors...

 

oh in real good (cold n dry) weather i managed an 8.42 at 92.8 mph in the 1/8th spinning the whole way down the track...

damn that is almost the same identical setup I have just waiting on a dynotune. I have the madz28 tune, but I am having a prob. with cam overlap. causing a false lean.. 160blm problem in closed loop. did you have any kind of tuning issue like that?

With the 306 and LE heads, I put down 400 RWHP and 364 RWTQ. I ran a 12.1 @ 115 w/ a 1.9 60'.
