I have been reading all the posts about that cam and I see most people use the Comp Cam Pro mags regardless. I hear they are very good. And 1.6 RR's will give you more power over stock ones regardless what you buy.

On my 93 T/A I ran the cc305 with cc prop mag steel roller rockers, add guideplates and appropriate studs + pushrods. I ran 1.6s with K-motion springs and it would rev to the sky if you let it...lol but it would really peak around 6300 or so. It ran realy strong with the AFR 190 heads.

I am running the comp 1.5 rr's non self-aligning w/hardened pushrods and guideplates. I had the 1.6 rr's comp self aligning and i did not like them at all. I always had problems w/ them. I was told that I would lose around 7 hp by stepping down the the 1.5's, but, no more valve train problems for me woohoooo

I ran the Pro Mag 1.6 self-aligning rr's and they worked out fine. Never had a problem with them. Car made real good power on that set-up.

94 TA TT2S- Those are more than likely Crane Gold RR's

I need to update my sig, but anways.. I have been running a cc 305 with crane gold 1.6's self aligning with hardend push rods but also had alot of problems with them.. after breaking many a rr studs and not wanting to mess with the valve train i went to the comp cam 1.5's and put in guide plates just did this swap yesterday and im in love with them... i dont feel any power difference .. if anything the car feels stronger, btw. the main reason for the swap was coil bind, and i dont have the time or money to do a spring job right now

I am gonna try some heads on my current setup and see where that gets me.......I am running 12.5 with stock heads and Stock stall so with those 2 items alone surely I can muster an 11 out of it somehow......
