CB663HX bearings superseded?

I ordered some CB663HXs and received CB663HXNs. Called the company I ordered them from to tell them I had received the wrong part and they told me the HXs had been superseded by the HXNs.

The N, I guess, stands for narrow and it is definitely narrower! I mic'd them both(have some old HXs laying around) to see the difference and the HXNs are .786" while the HXs are .838".

.052" seems like a lot, but I held them up together and looked at the bearing surface and the HXs(wider ones) have a chamfered edge, or something, and the wear area is identical!

So, I guess they are good to use?

I guess this kinda answers my question. Looks like the HX is being substituted by the HXN.

First two parts...

Looks like ALL the 663s are being replaced by the "N" part number.
