The Causes of Knock Retard? (Still getting retard)
I'm still getting knock retard around 2-3 degree at idle.
*Checked motor mounts
*Changed the plugs with colder ones
*Tuned the PCM with less advance (around 22-27 degree at idle)
What else can be the cause of the knock retard???
I don't think thats because of 1.6 NSA rockers, LT4 KM ignore that sound right?.
My Kooks LTs touch my Canton oil pan, could that be the reason of knock retard? (as false knock)

Your headers hitting the pan could be causing the false knock. Have you desensitized the knock sensor at all? Have tried running race fuel? How long have you had the knock? I had knock problems but had no choice but to drive the car. It was about a week or two before I was able to get a dyno tune and the tuner said he couldn't tune out the knock at all. He swapped out my LT4 KM with another one he had in another car and the problem was fixed....no more knock. Is it just at idle or do you have any under acceleration?

-I didn't desensitized the knock sensor because I'm not comfortable with that way. I want to solve my problem.
-I can't find any race fuel here. So I can't know if it is real or false knock
-I have at idle, BUT when I press the accelerator pedal it becomes 0.0 than after I release the pedal, it appears again.
My tuner said its not tuning or fuel related. He said something internal issue. What could be the worst thing?? This is a new engine and paid HUGE $$$$ I'm really worried about it.

Its just a mic thats attached the the block. It filters out most of the engine sounds but it does have some logic built in to detect a certain frequency or range of frequencies.
If it "hears" something that sounds like what its supposed to hear then it detects it as a "knock". That could be anything from your drivetrain or something simple as your headers hitting on your oilpan (metal to metal sound).
Maybe you could try and sandwich something that won't burn between the header and the metal to see if it helps the idle knock problem. If it doesn't do a thing then you may have real knock or another false knock.

use a piece of header wrap and shove it between the pan and the header pipe. If it stops retarding the timing then you could just wrap that portion of the header for a perminant solution.

I agree with everyone. If you only have knock at idle then I would look at the header/pan issue. It's probably from the rocking of the motor at idle but once you step on the gas and it smooths out a little it goes away.

I already wrapped the headers to reduce underhood heat. I mean there is wrap between oilpan and headers.
Which is easier??
Pulling headers and put some short headers

Finding the source of your knock would be the easiest. Use a piece of wood or something to pry the header away from the oil pan so it isn't touching it at all while you look at the log. If you still get knock at idle then you need to look else where. I assume that you have already tried pulling more timing to get it to go away, right? Are there no speed shops around that have race fuel? It would be worth it to drive somewhere that does so you can figure it out. Don't just start throwing parts at it.

I can't pry the header from oil pan. Its impossible. If I can take a picture I think I'll be much more clear.
Yes I know a shop who sells the race fuel. Its 117 unleaded. They told me "if you use this fuel you can blow your engine".

anyway you can describe how your cars running with my data logs i show about 6 degrees of retard which i also believe its from the header leak from the flange

You really ought to include your "location" in your personal profile/info (what shows up below your screen name), so people know you are in Europe and understand why you can't find race fuel and why your quoted octane numbers are not the same as in the US.
