Cats going on my car

I am gonna cut it off will it trow the ses light. My smog man dosent no cuse my car isent i duno he said somthing.

PS I guess all cali car have 2 cats mine dosent so he dosent no what do you guys think.

What year is your car?

If it's <96 then removing your cat won't throw an SES.
If it's >=96 then it will.

if its a 95, then it shouldnt throw a code...I have a 94 and a friend of mine has a 95...both of ours didnt throw a code...And we had the single cat...

I have a 96Z. What code will it throw, and can a CPU reprogram get rid of the code??

I no they sell a chip to make the SES light stay off for some years
