catback & cai, what next?

Hi, I have had my 95' for about 2 weeks now and i have put on a hooker catback and a k&n FIPK. What should i do next? My goal is to run in the low 13's to high 12's NA since there is 170k on the car. Also i am looking into getting the 18" zo6 rims with 275/35/18 tires. Will i need to reprogram the computer for the spedo? By the way the tires on it now are 245/50/16.

My suggestion for your next mod would definitly be headers. You can either get long tubes or shorties. If you get shorties I would suggest MAC, if it's LTs you're after I suggest Hooker or Jet Hot (very similiar). And if you get the Z06 rims you would not need to reprogram the speedo due to the fact that the tires thinner sidewal makes up the 2 inch difference in the rims. (Thats how they are designed)

You Z is very fast for just a catback and CAI. Headers are always a good mod after those two. Tire diameter is the same so no programming required. Going with 18” wheels and 35 series tires will not help traction though.

Thanks for the replies. Are long tubes worth the hassel to install over the shorties. Are lt's as much of a pain in the @$$ as every one on the board says they are? Also where is a good place to pick some lt's up.
