Catalytic Copnverter?

Are carsound and magnaflow catalytic converter the same thing. And do they pass emmissions tests. Also do they come with air tubes.

magnaflow makes carsound. yes they pass emissions, and what air tubes are you talking about?

last I knew our AIR inlets are in the manifolds/headers.

if you look on the cat in most pics they have tubes coming out the side of them.

And would the Magnaflow HF 3" BIG BLOCK converter work for my aplication. I plan on putting it right after the y-pipe.

Right after the y-pipe might be too far back.

Cats need to be hot enough in order to function properly.. having it after the y-pipe will heat the cats a lot less.
