Question Cat Glowing - Is this normal???

We're in the process of tuning my car, and it's been a bit rich. Anyway, it sounded a little odd last night, so I take a look under the car and the cat is glowing. I realized that I've never looked under the car at night, so I'm wondering if this is normal???

NO,

your cat is probably clogged.. though a lean condition will make your headers glow too..

That's what I was afraid of. The second tune on the car was REALLY rich, and I was afraid we killed the cat. Guess it's ORP time.........

Joe Prince Racing heads. He knows what he's doing. Once we get the tune in, should be low 280's and 270's.

Well, exhaust leak was coming from a squashed slip fitting. The band clamp forced the s-pipe out some, and squashed it. So, had to get that fixed, no biggie.

As for the glowing cat, while I was at the muffler shop, I had them drop the cat and take a look. clean as a whistle. Must be running pretty rich I would think. Working on the tuning still.

LT's and OPR come after a 12 bolt. I really need to get back to racing it. I'm deathly afraid of running it at the track with DR's and a street twin on a stock rear.
