blown head gaskets need help in taking the heads off...

there are two bolts that connects the water hose to the heads. those two bolts called BANJO bolts. what is exactly banjo bolt?? i tried to take it off, but it was so damn hard. it will turn anti clock wise around 3/4 turn, and just stuck. i tried to turn it the other way round and the same thing happen.
and also, my passenger side heads wont came off, i'd already took out the 17 bolts that connects the heads and the engine..
i saw two bolts that connect the heads and the altenator stand<=== should i took this bolts too?? to take off my passenger side heads???

thanks a lot guys

Those bolts connecting the coolant pipe between the heads can be on very tight. Most people leave it alone, then try and take both heads off at the same time with it still connected. I didn't do that, I gently tapped the wrench with a hammer until the bolt came loose.

I believe there are two bolts on the accessory (alternator bracket) that need to come out to get the head off on the passenger side.

I took both heads off at the same time, then removed the tube/banjo bolts after I set the heads aside. Worked like a charm.

I sprayed mine down with PBlaster and used a line wrench. They were tough but not a problem.

No, but I had to go and buy a set of ... I think 45 degree angle..... wrenches to get past/behind the pulley. Of course you could just buy the one you need. Someone might have a better idea to save money, but I spend an hour trying to get that bolt, and after having the right wrench, it took 30 sec.

thanks man, so what do you call this special tool that have a 45 degree angle???

and i would like to ask about the sensor that was right behind the intake manifold, above the coolant line. it was connected to the engine block not the intake manifold. i broke the sensor, where can i buy the replacement?? i'm not really sure it was the sensor, but to me it look like a sensor for something.

That's the oil pressure sensor. You can get one just about anywhere.

I cut my steam tube because I couldnt get it off, and used a rubber connection hose when I put it back.
