I thought i'd take it off to have a better ROAR on my FlowMasterz . and its true i had a better ROAR but i felt some power loss .. so tell me anyone experienced this or im just feeling this and its not true .
RPM changed. i dont really feel shifting as i used to .. i have a transho shift kit installed on my 4l60e

I seriously doubt you experienced any power loss. Odds are you have succumbed to the thing that gets a lot of people. The car sounds louder and tricks you into thinking it lost some power.
If anything, you gained some power. The stock cat can be a big restriction, especially if it's clogged.

You might loose a little TQ on the lower end, but you'll make it up in HP on the top end. When I took the mufflers off my 92 LT1 Vette I lost about 10lb-ft of torque from idle to around 2500, but then I gained right at 10HP from about 4500 on. That was a completely different exhaust system (dual 2.5") of course, but it still gives you a good idea of what may be happening.

You might have experienced some power loss. Your exhaust is so loud now that the computer might pick it up as false knock retard. Do you have the LT4 knock modual? If not, pick one up at your GM dealer; part number: 16214681. It's like $35.
That'll get rid of your problem with knock retard and restore the power you got by adding exhaust and getting rid of the cat.
