IS Castrol synthetic oil green in color?

Just curious.....I making a switch from Castrol synthetic 0w30 from Mobil 1, and I noticed that the oil was green like anti freeze. The tamper seals ARE intacted, but I just need to know if something is wrong.

The Castrol Synthetic 5w30 I used to use was not green. It looked like oil (brown in color).

The good stuff that is made in Germany(refered to as German Catrol or just GC by most) is indeed green, my understanding is the regular U.S. made Castrol Syntec is not as good and is not green. So you got the good stuff, by happy.

Thatnks...I specifically went out and bought this stuff after reading Patman's posts

So you are confirming that it is bright green? I want to make sure I didn't get oil that was tampered with
