Whos running them with nitrous? I have a friend wanting to build a 383 and wants to go a little cheaper. Will an lt1 383 with cast scat crank and forged pistons hold up good on a 150 shot? he's lookin at a PBM (?) kit on e-bay. thanks

 

A totally stock longblock will hold up to a 150 shot. Tune it good, keep it from detonating and he wont have any problems, as long as the machinework is done well.

 

Hey, my dad always told me if your gonna do something, do it right the first time or you'll end up spending way more in the end. If your gonna spray I'd atleast go with a forged assembly.
