I checked the plugs today and they were jet black. After the headers went in the car lost power, it won't spin them on a 1 - 2 shift anymore
. I was wondering what the problem might be? The bolts are tight and there dosn't seem to be any leaks although i am useing cheap paper gaskets.

If you have a good bit of miles on them, or you don't know how old they are then you should replace them. Go with the stock ones. Around $100 for the two you need. I found the ones I'm getting at www.lakechevrolet.com or I'll try to get ahold of Jason Cromer.
I think i'm going to do that, first though i'm gonna try to just disconnect them and see if that helps out at all. I was wondering though, when I had the exhaust tack welded together I had them make O2 extensions. The extensions were from the O2's to the PCM, not an extension of the pcm wires. Could that cause it?
