Unhappy Cars bleeding badly....

What the heck is up with the intake oil leak... just pulled manifold off. Had a small leak in the front... and the rear was a freaking nightmare... The GM gunk was put on pretty sloppy... What were they thinking? Guess the guy in the engine room must of been dozing off when he put my engine to gether.

anyhow just wondering... does having an intake manifold leak like that cause loss in performance issues... looking at all the oil seaping out the back and stuff I'm curios... has to effect something...

Sometimes the leak can get into the intake ports on one or two cylinders and foul plugs, that is about the only way it can hurt performance.

yes, correct me if im wrong but cant the oil leakage cause the octane in the fuel to degrade?
