Cars Accs wont come on

Cars Accs wont come on

When I turn my ignition to acc theirs no power and the car wont start.It was doing this previously last week but when I would try a couple of time it would start.Or if I loosened then tightened the battery terminals the cars acc would come on, But I tried that plus cleaned the terminals and still nothing what does it sound like to you guys?I still have radioand lights just no acc or power going to the starter.???????????????????????????Help

The column ignition switch. It cost about 18$ at auto parts stores. It installs at the bottom of the column. There's a little rod connected to the key ignition switch that slides the contacts connected to the column ign. switch to give you acc. pwr, start, all that. Maybe the rod came out, but probably the switch went out. Mine is erratic. if you wiggle the key a bit you may get it to work. I have a new switch, just havent gotten around to doing it yet.

and what does TTT mean??

Hmmmm. Thats no good. Why did you go and mess up your car??? Ok. First, are you sure it is a good battery? And although you cleaned the terminals, you might want to double check to see if there is power at the cables. Did you check the fuses? Are there power to the fuses? If yes, is there power to the ignition switch? In and out? For the heck of it, what year is your car? V-6 or V-8? Custom 4 cylinder? Did you flap your arms like a chicken and dance on one foot? <----- that does not always work. Check to see at what point in the circuit you loose power. Good luck!
