Carbed LT4 with XE224-230..what'll it do

ive been searching for times on this cam and they seem to be pretty consistant at low-mid 12's at 112-115...most if not all times were stock LT1 heads and some other bolt ons....

My combo is
LT4 heads with 2.02/1.60 valves with hotcam springs..no porting or polishing of any sort
comp XE224 cam
Gmpp dual plane intake
Holley 650 DBL pumper carb
1 5/8 long tube headers with dual exhaust
WC T-5 with 3.42's out back...

car weighes rougly 3,400 pounds

itll be a couple 3 weeks before i get the motor back in it but im gettin anxious here

Thanks guys!
Rob

on a normal FI setup i would say that combo would be good for 375rwhp and mid-low 12s.

Should be a neat comparison of the two platforms.

Congrats on the build Rob.

I have nothing against carbs... I've spent many more years with carbureted engines than I have with FI. For me, FI is a nice change of pace. Tuning with a laptop is cake when compared to fine tuning metering block emulsion, boosters, jets and all that carb jazz.

Either way, you should have a fun ride on your hands. Keep us updated on your results.

Carbs suck. Why? Because a well tuned carb makes more power than EFI!!!

Is the carb box stock? Are you tuning it yourself? I couldn't fine tune a carb if my life depended on it.
