Have a chance to acquire an LT1 Carb'd intake. wondering if it will work with LT1 heads..

 

i think you are talking about apples and oranges. Are you talking about an intake off an old lt1?

 

no. I have an LT1 .. have a chance to buy the aftermarket LT4 intake manifold for carburator. .. wondering if it will work on an LT1.. says its the same as LT1 except intake is .010" higher..

yes the intake will work but you'll have to grind a little of the outter eges to make it fit. if you take the old intake off and set the new one in place you'll be able to mark how much. It's not hard it took me less than 15 min to do it on mine.
