Car Wreaks!

I park in the garage and it just wreaks in there smells like a mechanic shop or something. What all could this be. Also, im gettin liek 16-17 mpg city/highway mix. I was thinking of doing the wires with taylor wire and plugs with ngk plugs. I figured that maybe i have an exhaust leak also. Anyone have any ideas i tried puting my hands on the tips but that didn't really tell me anything..

Hmmmmm, my garage smells like that also, oh, thats right, it smells like a mechanics garage, cause I WORK ON MY CAR IN IT! LOL, sorry man, couldnt resist. Seriously though, without a service engine code, its not the O2 sensor most likely, so it could be the tune up. Remember that the LT1 runs a little rich from the factory, its the nature of the beast, give us a little more info and we can see what we can turn up, best of luck to ya man, Prorac1

Well the problem is...i havent done any work on my car in the garage. The smell of gas invades the entire garage and works its way into the room that you enter from the garage.

If it is an exhaust leak near the engine, then open the hood and see if you can hear any crackling.

If you smell GASOLINE it's a leak [gas leak!]
If you smell exhaust, then look for leaks in exhaust system, or a 'running rich' problem..
