Car won't start untill second crank?!?!?

Car won't start untill second crank?!?!?
Put a racetronix fuel pump, and new svo 24lb injectors in.....
Turn key on, wait for fuel pump to finish "priming".... cranks fine, but WILL NOT start on the first crank......
Wait half a second, crank the second time, and it fires right up!!!!
What Gives???
