Car won't start (sometimes)

My car won't start when it is cold and wet. All other times it cranks right up. When the moisture is gone, starts with no problems. Will start in the cold and will start when it's wet, just not a combonation of the two

Any suggestions? I have had the battery tested (was fine) and the opti is new. Is it possibly deffective?

I also have an MSD 6A and a Nology coil.... Would either of those cause this intermitten problem?

I would also look closely at the coil wire and coil connections for any corrosion on the terminals.

i'm going to say its your coil just because mine did this **** on me before it left me stranded one night it'll progressively get worse. then it'll have trouble in dry weather too. then it'll die. raise the hood at night and look around the casing where its held on you'll probably see a big arc. have somebody try and start the car while you're is the trick cold air makes the crack bigger and moisture makes it easier to arc. at least thats what was wrong with mine. and then somehow the arcing when it finally died caused my fuel pump to shut off until i reset the ecm.

Thanks for the reply, Luckily I have a replacement coil, I just have to get a harness adapter. I ordered a MSD coil from summit for like $40...
