Car won't start Optispark?

I was driving last night and I hit a puddle (not the first one i had hit all night) it was a small one but my car shut off i tried restarting it it was turning but not starting. I pushed it off to the side and tried starting it again and i was getting spark and gas and it was extremely close to starting but never did. I let it dry for 2 hours and it wouldn't start and then i let it dry overnight and it still wouldn't start. Today it won't get any spark but it still turns. Could it be the optispark or distributor cap and rotor? I have a 94 camaro z28 lt1 6 speed with dual borla exhaust with a y-pipe and k&n cold air intake.

yes, it could be... if it's turning with no spark whatsoever then that's probably what it is, because the starter and battery are obviously ok, and all the plugs and wires wouldn't die at the same time...
sounds like opti

That's how I killed my original opti ... silly puddles.
Just needed a new cap/rotor.

Could be the coil or ICM... if you can get your hands on a spare to test with, it's a lot easier than swapping an opti.

Here's a link to some diagnostic information

This is for a 1996 Z28, but it should help you some.

I ended up finding two of my wires were messed up switched them and it started but how did it run before? I'm wondering if it eventually dried out. It runs better with the wires switched too, I can't believe i missed that. Starts up no problem every time. Thanks for the help!

I think it depends on what wires were crossed. Certain ones will cause less issues.

Specifically, 6 and 8.
It runs rough, but it runs and they're easy to mix up because they're so long and out of the way.
