Car wont start, new Opti,Waterpump, starter, coil, wires! STILL NO START PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Ok people I replaced the Opti, waterpump, coil, starter, battery and a few other things and the car still wont start! I hear the fuel pump engage when i turn the key. I checked that main ground on the front of the block also. I dont think its the fuel pump, also I dont think its the igntition switch because i have owned other Lt1 cars in the past where it went bad and when i turned the key i didnt get a click or anything.
When I turn the key the 1st couple of times the car will sound like it wants to crank over but it doesnt. Then after a couple more tries it just starts to click. Im really so pissed right now. I took alot of time after work and a weekend putting the car back togther and now more problems
Any help would be appreciated i did a search and tried alot of things but nothing i tried worked.

Usually when it just clicks, its a bad ground(from my experience anyway). Have you replaced the main ground wire that hooks to the battery? I had to replace mine last year, I would just turn the key and the car would either click rapidly or just not do anything. The ground didn't look bad from the outside, but when I opened it up it was all coroded.

does your car dash lights dim down when you start? I've had this problem and I thought it was the battery, but it ended up being the positive terminal block in front. Its the connections right in the red cap. Tork it down with a ratchet, and possibly take it apart and clean all the connections. I did this and mine started right up. Yours could be a different case, but its worth a try.
