93 t/a w/ lt4

ok heres where the problem started, i was driving, and would just have the car in cruise on highway, then engine would die and car would quit accelrating, this happened a few times over the next week, then one day it became harder and harder to start until eventually it just quit starting. so in order to fix the prob, me and my dad replaced, opti, and we noticed the water pump shaft was broken so we fixed that as well.

well the car would start with putting your foot on the accelrator but when you took your foot off it would die because it was incapable of idling. we took it to a shop, and they might have changed the aic, or not, im not sure i dont get it back til tomorrow, but if they did change the aic. what else could it be


i guess the real question is: what else makes the lt1/4 idle except aic?
