Car wont start....!!!HELP!!!

I"m in urgent need of help... my car wont start. I turn the key... I can hear the STarter engaging ... (making the clicking noise) .. then I turn my key and nothing ... Acts like the CLutch pedal isn't being pressed in when it is. My battery was just charged... new alti... fuses good... terminal wires are in tight ... but no ignition sequence... I"m wonder what the heck is going on...recently I had an alignment done and am wondering if maybe a wire or something was snagged out... I know theres an ignition engagment switch that is activiated by the clutch... but where is it... exactly... how can I check it... any ideas or suggestions?

It sounds like he is saying it only clicks once...

If you hear the solenoid engage (single click) but the motor does not turn over, your starter is almost definitely fried. On mine, I experienced the exact same symptom. Replaced the starter, and all is well.

Thanks guys... Got it figured out!

Damn I'm good.... knew no way in hell the Z was acting up on her own.

The guys that did the alignment snagged one of the wires and messed up the clutch engagement thing... Phew!!! I can wipe the sweat off my forhead now... it was funny also becasue a piece of my steering column fell out.... seems everytime I get my car serviced for simple stuff someone always messes something up... You gotta be carful with these cars... these things are delicate... o-well... She's rumbling again now Just intime ... so I can pick up my paycheck too
