also live in s.a., how is the antifreeze? just a question, i was worried for mine and got it checked but was all good, also you may have had some bad corrosion due to the moisture. good luck.

A good chunk of Canada see's -30's C (-22 F) each year. Batteries should not "freeze". If they do it's a junk battery.

i guess it was my battery. i took it to auto zone and they said it was dead. i have not bought a new battery because i am about to do an engine swap and thought i might not need it just now. i didnt know batteries could freeze. thats crazy....
