Angry car wont start

today i put a new radiator in my 94 Z and i pulled the the driver side valve cover to tighten a loose rocker arm. With the valve cover off i started the car adjusted the rocker and turned it off and put the cover back on. Then when i went to start the car to get the air pockets out of my cooling system, it would not start. it just cranked but did not kick over. After 3 tries, it did kick over and reved to about 1500 rpm and then died. and now it just wont kick over. My intake elbow does not seal well with my TB, could this be the problem? Has this happened to anyone?

make sure you're getting spark at the plugs.... you say you replaced the radiator...did you drip any coolant onto the opti?

also make sure you replaced all sensors ..check the obvious stuff first like fuel, and spark... then look into the other stuff like opti, sensors..

do you know anyone who can scan the car for you?

good luck...and be sure to post the problem once you figure it out!

Nothing got on the opti. It ran after i put the radiator in. I think it might be the crack in the intake elbow. I read that air comes in the easiest way. so if there is a crack before the maf, then the computer will think that no air is coming into the motor, then it will shut down. but i will find out in the morning.

This morning when i looked at all of my sensor connections, i noticed that my maf plug was not fitting right. so i pulled the plug on it and one of the prongs inside was bent to the side. So i bent it back, plugged it in and problem solved.

Well if the MAF was completely unplugged. The car would start but would run in open loop. With the MAF partially connected( some of the pins ) the car is trying to get a reading but cannot because it is not fully connected. Therefore telling the computer something is wrong so the car will not run.
