had my car dynoed the other day and we noticed that the car wouldn't pull past 6k rpm. I just starts to miss out kind of like its hitting a rev limiter. I'm almost positive its not hitting a rev limiter and I'm leaning towards it being a opti problem. Tell me what you guys think. thanks

 

Maybe valve float??

 

i'm pretty sure i'm good on valve springs so i hope there is no valve float

 

well i have a pcmforless chip and he should have changed the rev limiter along with his tune. I've sent him a message to check and be sure.

 

check your MAF calibrations...and your ignition...plugs, wires, coil, etc

I experienced the same thing....burnt plug wire

 

Stock untouched heads typically run out of air around 6K. Didn't see any mention of head mods in your sig so that's what I'm leaning towards.

 

I say its the rev limiter you might cheak with pcmforless but does your set up need to go that high

 

I just seen you have a dig 6 box whats it set at

 

Fuel table runs out at 7200 and the rev limiter should be tuned to what ya want it set at,in the computer.

 

my car is speed density so i have no maf and all the plugs and wires look good.
The digital 6 box is set at 6300. i'm going to make sure with pcmforless about the limiter.
