Car stutters need help!

Well i finally fixed my vacuum leak problem. So i drive around to test it out. After like the first 15 or 20miles maybe it started acting really weird. I had it checked and it is not throwing any codes. When i first let off the clutch i can hear a clicking noise from what sounds like the bottom of the engine, and the accelerator pedal feels like it is shaking some. Once i get around 2 or 3k rpm the noise stops, but it still sputters. At low rpm is when it sputters really bad and kinda chugs. At wot it feels like it is lacking some power but it dosent sputter as much. Once it started doing this i headed back to my house and after about 10miles of driving on it sputtering it started to backfire really bad. I was sitting at a stoplight and it started to backfire at idle. Another weird thing that it is doing is when i put the car in neutral after being about 3k rpm or so it will only go down to 2k rpm till i come to a complete stop. It doesnt do this constantly but at random times. I am really confused as to what the problem might be. I have comp r lifters. I adjusted the valves with the car idling and went 1/4 turn past zero lash. Could this cause a problem like this once the car warms up?

That clicking noise could be a plug wire or two arcing. That could cause your power loss, backfiring, and missing.

Well i figured that might be the problem, but my plugs and wires have less than 100miles on them. I also have a brand new opti on the car and when i tried to start it i had a few plugs on the wrong cylinder. Could that cause a wire or plug to go bad?

Check your wires again. It only takes one heat cycle to burn up a spark plug wire. If you can hear it clicking I bet money you can also see it. Also make sure the wires are connected to the right cylinders so the car runs at its best.
