Car stumbles then quits. Need some advice
I asked this question here awhile back and tried some things mentioned, but it wasn't helping. Here is the symptom. I'll be driving along (55-60 MPH) and the car will stumble a little, I'll push in the clutch, and then it will die. I will try to restart it, and it takes a couple tries before it will restart. When it starts back up, I'll give it some gas, and it will start to die again at about 2500-3000 RPMs. Now, if I shift before then I can get the car back going, and then it will be fine. Sometimes it will throw a check engine light, other times it will not. When it does throw a code, it says to many pulses. I just put a new distributor in the car about a year ago. I tried wiggling the keys when the car is moving, as someone on here suggested it may be the ignition. Anyone have any clue on what it could be. Do you think I need a new opti? Thanks for any help, Tyler
Which code exactly does it throw?
I put it to: Opti, ignition, fuel pump in that order. I have had one factory opti last 36 documented miles before I had to replace it so don't think it can't be it.

I can't remember what code is was. I think it may end in 85? Not to sure. I took the car out yesterday again. I let the RPMS go a little higher, about 6000 or so, and the starts to miss and stumble in the higher RPMS, so I'm thinking it is proably my opti again.
