Car Stalling

i have 96 Z that stalls around 1,000 to 2,000. every once in a while even when the motorswarmed up. if i got msd and a blaster would it help.

msd may not help. you need to find the problem first. check coil, opti, maf, icm, when was your last tune up, what year how many miles, need more info

Its a 96 Z28 camaro w/ 112,000 miles.

Every once in awhile huh! Sounds like an EGR valve going bad. My car did the same thing.

Bad Optis tend to be hard to troubleshoot! Rule out the EGR first! Bypass it by removing the two screws that are attached to the back of the manifold and place a piece of metal cut out to fit the hole and retighten this to see if this helps. If it does it is the EGR valve. Just because you have a lt1 with a 112,000 miles on it does not mean the opti is bad. Good Luck on your car!
