Car runs, then quits
Car runs, then quits
I just replaced the intake gaskets to fix the rear intake oil leak, and went to start it up. It starts fine, idles for about 1-2 seconds then cuts out. It will fire right back up and do the exact same thing. It is not showing an ses light either.
I did notice that right after it dies, the fuel pump kicks in again. There are no fuel leaks or anything, and i am 99% sure i have all the vacuum lines connected properly, i am gonna download the pics off my camera and verify.
I read that the best way to check the fuel pressure regulator is to pressurize the system, and then pull the vacuum line off it. If fuel comes out its crap. Nothing squirts out mine. I am gonna go to town tomorrow and get a Fuel pressure gauge to see what its at.
Is it possible that the vacuum lines are connected wrong causing it to kill itself?
