Car runs like crap with AC on.
Just what the subject says, car idles poorly, stumbles when you take off etc.
Really annoying. With the AC off it is less noticeable, but still there.
What can it be?

I feel your pain. When it is really hot outside, my engine will run rough enough with the ac on that it sets a "random misfore" code in the computer. It runs perfectly without the ac. If you find out what it is, please tell me. I changed plugs just to see-no difference (other than a couple of scars on me.)
