Re: Car runs horrible after header gasket change

I still have some problems, the car is driveable now...but I have a bad low RPM miss, with a big power loss. Pulled all plugs and wires and they check out fine, I'm stumped.

Re: Car runs horrible after header gasket change

I'm having the same problem right now after my header install. My car has 85k miles on it and I don't think the plugs had ever been changed (I bought it 3k miles ago) so I think I have a cracked plug wire. I've got some new wires coming that should be here tomorrow and I will post up once I get them on.

I would if I didn't just change them a week ago when I did the headers.

In that case, new wires should fix you right up.

Just an update, all plugs and wires 'looked' fine, but I replaced them anyway and my miss went a way. So strange, plugs and wires looked practically new.

At least its fixed now. You never know if one of your plugs has a hairline crack in the porcelin or one of your boots isn't seating completely unless you have the help of a scanner to isolate which cylinder(s) is causing trouble.
