Okay so this is not about my car or any lt1 running rich but about my friends 95 gt. So if you wanna move it then go ahead but i was unsure of where i should put this because its not really a lounge type question. But i just helped my friend install a cai and a magnaflow catback on his 95 gt that he just bought. When we finished up the install he started the car while i was near the rear alligning his tips. I could smell a lot of fuel coming out of his exhaust. That means the car is running rich correct? If so what causes a car to run rich. I know why it could run lean, but what makes it run rich?

 

Exhaust leaks, bad O2's, bad MAP, bad MAF.... There's a number of things that it could be...
