well, damn...i took it to the beach after i got it fixed, and now its only getting 14-16 mpg vs 22-25 mpg. looks like i will have to look into it a little farther!

You could have fried an O2 sensor which would cause a drop in gas mileage. If you can get on a scanner check the mV of the 02's and see what they're doing.
