car running like crap

So i am driving the tonight and i decided to log a run in datamaster. So i head out to where i know no one will be. I stopped and launched, when i hit third my transmission broke agian, basically i took all the teeth off third, much like i did to second about this time last year. But that isn't the problem, when it kicked out of third the revs shot up to like 6800 and i just gave up. Well when i get to the next stop light the car almost dies and the revs go down to like 500 rpms, so i started datamaster again, the car is running lean as heck when ever the is any kind of throttle, when i am idleing down it settles back to 128. it seems to have no power until i hit about 2500 rpms once it goes over 2500 it pulls normal. Not only am i really pissed but i i am dumbfounded. Would much appreciate a little insight

edit: i was just thinking it could be a intake gasket, as it seems in my old files at idle i had about 32 Kpa, but now at idle i am up to about 38 Kpa, could an intake gasket be doing that?

Sounds like perhaps you knocked off your snorkel between the MAF and the TB or there is otherwise an air leak. Just curious what your oil pressure is doing now?

Oil pressure is fine, except of course when the RPM drops a little low, then it gets a little low for my liking.

Updates: this morning i started it up and i wouldn't idle at all. So needless to say driving to work was...ummm fun. But once the temp got up the car started to idle better, still not where it should be but at least it wasn't stalling. So today when i left work i had someone hold the gas down long enough for me to stand up there and listen for leaks or what not, i found no apparent ones but i do hear a sucking noise, but i don't know if it was always there. So i pulled the (I believe its the) AIR hose off the back of the intake piping, that made the idle go up a little and hold semi normal, i tried plugging it with my finger but that didn't seem to make it normal. So i unplugged the MAF and it started running fine. WTF!!! (also driving around in speed density mode shouldn't run it to lean should it? i am gonna hook up the comp tonight) But i still am not sure whats wrong.
