car running bad when warmed up

I have had this problem for sometime. When I first start the car in the morning it runs great, like it is supposed to. But after it warms up it starts to stutter and miss at idle and miss when accelerating. The plug wires arent arching anymore, I have checked. New fuel filter, new plugs and wires. Seems to be running rich. Not sure what is going on with it. The opti is like a year and a half old. Any suggestions?

It has to be the Flux Capacitor if its not the opti

Seriously, my next guess would either be the coil, or the Ignition Control Module from heat soak. Neither of the 2 are expensive.

I would do a fuel pressure test and rule out fuel system problems. does kinda sound like opti tho. did you replace the whole unit? coil would also be a logical next step

Well I thought it was the coil too, so I got an msd coil for it but that was not it. Could it be something fuel related?

it;s possible.. thats why I always sugest a pressure test to make sure it;'s worrking correctly. it;s very easy to rule out a pressure problem. if thats all good we can go from there.

but did you install a compelate new opti or just a cap and rotor kit?
