Car and rotor rubbing on only one side..

what would cause the opti to be rubbing on one side and destroying the rotor button? I have posted a time or 2 on this but upon further investigation looks like it is only rubbing on one side..I had been replacing cap and rotor but this time got a all new opti..running ok so far. but if the dowel pin was too long it would cause it to run all the way around right? if it does it this time I am taking the cam out and going with a bigger one while I have it out. Ideas on why it was rubbing on one side? maybe the shaft of the opti was slightly bent?

Brad

There is a bearing, if it offsets then it will rub on one side.
