Car Overheating
Car Overheating
System seems to be pressurized and the coolant is warm...not hot. However, the inlet hose for the water pump is hot while the outlet is scolding. Could this be a bad thermostat or something else?
P.S. Temp rises past 260

Re: Car Overheating
throw in a 160degree thermostat. it made a world of difference in my car. Also, if you do more engine work, get your computer reprogrammed and have them turn the fans on at a much lower temperature.
Lastly, check the spoiler under the front of your car. make sure it is still going to scoop air into your engine bay.
