So I just got done with the head removal and have all my engine together (repaired a stripped out sparkplug hole). So now when I try to start it, all I get is a loud click and all the lights and electronics go out. I thought it was a dead battery so I brought it in to Autozone, had them check and recharge it. I took it home, still no luck

Any suggestions? This is on my 97 Z28. I'm thinking I have something really fubar'd wiring wise.

 

OMG R US SERIOUS...Samething is happeneing with me 2....I don't know what it is...I posted lik yesterday ro 2 days ago n no1 responded...My cuz is checkin it out friday...I have 97 also....ill let u know what he thinks...

 

Hey, got my car started today! I found a broken ground wire around the ground staps near the coil and it started right up.
