Yes. Like i stated before, it might be the wire that connects to the ICM. It can be shorting your ICM out. Thats what happened to me. I replaced the ICM. And it started, then after a few seconds it died again. So I replaced the wire and put another ICM in and it started just fine. It's been 2 months or so now since I've done this and no problems since. Also I would get a TUNE for your car to turn your fans on at an earlier time. Helps keep the engine cooler, especially now during the summer. Check out PCMforless.com for a tune for your car.

Would the ICM cut power to the fuel pump also.Because it sounds like I have the same problem.All the car dose is crank and their is no SES light when the key is turned.I changed the ignition switch and it dident help.1996 z28.
