i have a 93 Z28 and it will run for about 30 minutes then shut off also when i try to start it if i turn the key all the way it wont start if i leave off a little it fires right up any guesses on what would make it shut off?

 

When you turn the key to restart it, does it turn over, or does it do nothing?

I had a similar problem, it would die, and upon restart it would crank fine, just not fire up. After a few minutes, it would start again. My problem turned out to be the fuel pump.

 

hmm...well the fuel pump turns on and everything i thought it might be the ignition switch or ignition coil maybe
