Recently I've noticed that my car has little to no low end power. If I have the pedal half-way down, the car barely accelerates at all, when normally half throttle would accelerate pretty quickly.

If I floor the car though, it gets up and goes, but I hafta really get on it for it to go anywhere. It's not a fuel issue. Also though, when I do get on it, I can hear a distinct whine, reminiscent of supercharger whine, and although it sounds cool I'm guessing it could be part of the problem.

Could a vacuum leak be causing this? Any other ideas?
