car has a miss...

it showed up after i changed the plugs, fuel filter and put in a lt4 km. i assumed it was the wires so i bought new ones and it is still there, so im going put the stock km back in right now to see if that does it. what else could it be?

You gapped new plugs correctly? Can you figure out what cylinders are missing? At what RPM's? KM unlikely pull timing that hard to produce miss.

it is ngk tr55's gapped at .050 i also have datamaster and other diagnostic programs, unfortuantly i have not had the time to learn enough about them to use them to my advantage. if anyone can tell me what i should look at on datamaster i can do that.

edit: it also seems to be mainly at high rpms, say between 3k and redline

temp doesnt matter, seems to happen mainly between 3k and redline. i doubt that i got any wires confused because i did them one at a time. but i will go back and check. it is weird, it doesnt feel like a normal miss. i have had bad plug wires before and this doesnt feel the same. i dont know how else to describe it though. like i said i have datamaster and all that so if someone can tell me what to look at i will do that

when is the last time you replaced the coil or checked the ICM? Also check to see how your o2 sensors are.. Do you have a ses light?

no ses light, never replaced the coil, and the o2's are reading decent mv's according to datamaster

put the stock km back in. Not all km work with all systems. I remember a while back several people were having problems with this. Try that if no luck. replace coil...
